Winter, Summer, A Change of Seasons?

Guess winter's never coming,
Start the year with summer and end with fall,
No sign of snow on the trees shining.
As I lie here drought by the sandstorm,
Watching as passing the skiers by,
Awaiting a cold unapproaching,
And a winter never coming.

Kinda progressive :)
